I guess I was so busy trying to get people to hear me, I never thought about listening.

“Why do some people have to work so hard for the things they want and others don’t? Why are some people selfish by nature and some of us are selfish just to survive?”

Sometimes I think the worst thing you can do to someone is idolize them or make them out to be anything else but human; then you’re only giving them room to disappoint you.
