Wormwood (NHB Modern Plays)

A poetic and heart-rending play written in response to the tenth anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster.
Catherine Czerkawska's play Wormwood homes in on the experience of Natalya, a scientist and the only member of her family to survive the disaster.
The play was first staged at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, in 1997.
