Lush has said, "I knew I wanted the protagonist's voice to be light and funny, but I also wanted a legitimate mystery", highlighting her approach to mixing genres.
Her latest novel, Gator Queen (2024), blends cosy mystery with romance, catering to fans of light-hearted crime fiction.
