A black-authored collection of poetry about trauma, mental health, struggling faith, and perseverance. Muses from the Moon is an illuminating book of poetry that captures the human spirit and explores it through the lens of the four phases of the moon. Written with teens in mind, the ease and accessibility of the language in this book will help readers young and old to be honest with their feelings and encourage them to meditate on the relationship between what is hard and what is good. W. Scott’s free verse poetry is poignant and meditative, weaving pictures with his words that reveal he is a poet who sees into hearts and invites others to do so with him.
