- Monetary policy. All important communications or publications along with press conferences of the main central banks
- Labor market data: current unemployment rate in Germany and the NFP (Nonfarm payrolls, the first Friday of the month at 08.30 EST (13.30 GMT) in the US.
- Leading Indicators: in Germany, the Ifo Business Climate Index. In the US: ISM
purchasing managers' index
- Consumer confidence
- Gross Domestic Product (GDP): important for any large currency area
- Consumer Price Index (CPI: Topic: Inflation!)
- Producer Price Index (PPI)
