Jim Maitland

'Jim Maitland' is a novel written by H. C. McNeile—and is one of his best-known works. It follows the adventures of a British globetrotter named Jim Maitland, who McNeile describes as a “footloose sahib of the period”. Brilliant and slightly uncanny, Maitland's challenges in this book begins on the Island of Tampico, where through the eyes of Leyton, the book's narrator, we see him in action as he outwits his foes and foils plans to stop him from uncovering the truth.
