The witch: supernaturally powerful, inscrutably independent, and now—indestructible. These moving, relatable poems encourage resilience and embolden women to take control of their own stories. Enemies try to judge, oppress, and marginalize her, but the witch doesn’t burn in this one.

The only reason I read this is because I absolutely loved the first book (the princess saves herself in this one), but this book really disappointed me.
The author uses the same exact idea for the entire book, and it is just incredibly annoying. Her intention was to talk about feminism, but all she does is trash men. She acts like every single men on earth is a bunch of crap and we, women, should burn them like men from 16th century burnt women they thought were witches.
I liked the idea of a book dedicated to women’s empowerment, and I really enjoy the author’s style. However, I dislike the message of vengeance she tried to convey. I truly believe women should encourage other women to be better than the men who raped them, not bend down to their level.

No he leído muchos poemarios. Pero sin duda este es uno que nunca olvidaré, gracias por darme fuerza cuando sentía que la perdía

Despite the repetition parts that were a bit too long, I enjoyed this book a lot. Must read!
