The year is 870 AP, according to the Calendar of Aeon Power.
In a universe where one can travel to any planet all over the universe, the Prime Humans manage an uneasy peace. Yet even with this uneasy peace crime has only increased across the universe, with outlaws known as Galactic Runners running across millions of star systems. Out of all these Galactic Runners, the most infamous of them are known as the X-Thieves.
Yet, these legendary outlaws have been arrested by the Prime Human government! Their sentence is to perform dangerous suicide missions until they drop.
Clarice, the captain assigned to watch over the thieves finds herself thrown directly into the fire alongside these criminals. All in the name of her family, she will stop at nothing to become a legend and etch herself into history itself.
