The Vietnam War rages on and two very different people find themselves in Saigon. Nhu is a Vietnamese woman who is a spy for the American government. Ben is a soldier who has been stationed in Saigon.
One day they literally run into each other and from there they lose themselves in each other in a night of passion in Saigon. They plan to run away together to America and from there they end up in a seedy hotel in New York.
Ben watches her in the moonlight and marvels how beautiful she, standing there in bathed in moonlight, her scar their only reminder of war torn Vietnam.
