She hears him curse and her gaze flutters up.
“James? Did I— did that hurt?” she asks, prepared to pull her hands free.
“Harder, love,” his voice is rough. “Squeeze your fingers around me. That's it.”
Her breath catches. He looks like he's in pain, but when she does what she's told, he lets out a low growl that conveys nothing but absolute pleasure, muscles tensing as he shivers under her touch. “Does— does that feel good?” she asks, fingers trembling as she brings it down and up again. His jaw clenches, head slipping back as he arches up into her touch like a cat.
Her heart is pounding, blood buzzing under flushed skin as the air in the room becomes stifling.
“Can I be on top?” she asks and he flips them so quickly that she feels like she's still spinning for a second after he's stopped.
She feels more in control this way, straddling him instead of being on her back with his heavy weight on top of her.
