With your wand, or other tool, in your dominant hand point towards the east side of the circle and say the following.
“I call upon the Guardian of the East, Element of Air, to watch over this sacred space.”
Envision the Guardian appearing in the east, bow to acknowledge the Guardian and turn to the south. With hand extended say the following.
“I call upon the Guardian of the South, Element of Fire, to watch over this sacred space.”
Envision the Guardian, bow to acknowledge him and turn to the west. With hand extended say the following.
“I call upon the Guardian of the West, Element of Water, to watch over this sacred space.”
As you envision the arrival of the Guardian, bow in respect and turn to the North. With Arm still extended, say the following.
“I call upon the Guardian of the North, Element of Earth, to watch over this sacred space.”
Raise your hand up into the air and say the following.
“I call upon the spirit to protect this space, as I will, the circle is cast.”
