From St. Mary's Loch, to Lochmaben, Loch Doon, Loch Leven, and even the famed Loch Ness, among others, the author highlights the distinctive features of each lake that a traveler can expect to find. The book is illustrated with colour drawings of each loch done by the artist A. F. Lydon.
