Adrian Mitchell's growth as a poet has been remarkable. Following his debut book, A Cracked Door, his subsequent collections have shown incredible growth of the poet, his use of the language, and his boldness in saying what he believes. “I Don't Understand” is a fascinating look at the world through this very deep mind, asking, questioning, probing, always fearlessly.
To add to that, Adrian has included some soft and lovely sides to his work. This is a pleasure to read, and certainly leaves the reading thinking.
