From Galatians 3:16, we learn that that seed was Christ, and in Him alone all the blessings of the New Covenant shall be realized. The significance of this subject can be assessed by the fact that only a few chapters describe the creation of the worlds, while the rest of the Old Testament is dedicated to God's dealings with this one man and his family.
