The primary purpose for this book is for the student to be able to pass the test for the Nurse Practitioner’s Board Review. There is an index in the back of the book to use to find specific content. The atypical presentation of the following information will aid in preserving this information in your long term memory. The mind remembers the unusual for longer periods of time with a greater recall value compared to the ordinary. Each sentence should be hand written by the person who is using them on a 3x5 index card. As the mind retains information better when it hears its own voice it will also retain information better by seeing its own hand writing. The next step is simple; go over and over the flash cards until you wake up in the middle of the night quoting these facts. Memorize the facts now; you can learn them later when you use them over and over.
