“My Friends the Savages: Notes and Observations of a Perak settler (Malay Peninsula)" by Giovanni Battista Cerruti
Giovanni Battista Cerruti was an Italian explorer. He wanted to go in search of the Sakai, a population, probably of Australian origin, who took refuge in the mountains of Malacca, in the interior of the States of Perak and Pahang, which in Cerruti's time did not exceed ten thousand people and where he will spend a total of about fifteen years. This book is a culmination of his observations on this mission.
