I’ve written you a lot of messages that I never sent. A part of me really wants you to know how I feel about you, but the other part of me thinks it’s better if you don’t.

Maybe this will be the last thing I’ll ever write to you. After this wedding, I might not be around anymore. And even if I was, you’d want nothing to do with me.
“Violet…?”
Damon couldn’t believe his eyes. Violet was standing before him, her long brown hair was blowing in the wind, and those purple eyes were shining brightly.
“Hey,” Violet said softly, but Damon heard it loud and clear.
This wasn’t a dream. This was real. She was there in the flesh, standing in front of him.
“Violet, Violet!”
Damon’s hand went to Violet’s stomach, putting pressure on it, hoping to stop the bleeding. Violet’s eyes were closed shut and her body felt cold.
“Violet, please! Don’t close your eyes, baby!”
He tried rocking her body back and forth, but Violet wasn’t responding.
