    Kesunyian yang membunuh, kesedihan yang menenggelamkan jiwa dan tanpa warna. Haruki Murakami merekam perasaan tersingkir-teralienasi itu dengan amat baik.

    I overrated this book.

    Saya sangat menikmati buku ini sampai bab terakhir, tetapi tidak halaman terakhirnya. Pada mulanya saya pikir Murakami sangat imajinatif dan luar biasa dalam membangun karakter dengan masalah khas orang urban: kesepian and insecurity. Tokoh utama terkesan depresif, mengingatkan saya pada karakter di beberapa buku Murakami lainnya, seperti Norwegian Woods dan 1Q84.
