Young 14 year old Emmanuel knows that his stepmother tried to kill him, so he makes his escape to Kampala. Life becomes very hard for him, but after some years he finds a job he enjoys, a young woman he loves and a Saviour who changes his life.
Sent as a missionary to another tribe, he and his wife Sarah with their two small children begin a work of preaching, teaching and planting churches. However, their hearts are filled with love for the vulnerable children they see around them and they begin to take them into their family. This work developed into Parental Care Ministries and now cares for over 2,000 children in a baby home, 6 primary schools and a senior school, and this book tells the story of how it came about.
