Like many communists, Pyotr Kropotkin predicted that the capitalist system will go awry and collapse under its contradictions. However, the anarchic leanings of his thought make Kropotkin far more interesting and iconoclastic than other thinkers of the far-left. Therefore, many of his predictions were accurate, and others are thought-provoking even when they turned out to be false.
