Aristotle- The Greek Philosopher
Aristotle is a Greek Philosopher who made significant and lasting contributions to every aspect of human knowledge, from ethics, biology to aesthetics.
Though overshadowed in classical times by the work of his teacher Plato, from antiquity through the Enlightenment, Aristotle’s surviving writing were very influential. He was known as “The First Teacher” in Arabic philosophy, in the West he was known as “The Philosopher”.
