I have learned about Oliver Twist on many occasions
but not the first version (made by Charles Dickens).
Too old fashioned. I've always been hearing about this book, and that it's great and all . But when I read it myself, even thought I knew it was a classic, therefore based in older times, I found in all most every third word was a word I did not understand, or a word infrequently used in modern day to day life.
Rather complicated language, it was difficult to follow sometimes
It’s about Oliver and other young kids trying to survive in a orphanage that barley gives them food and a uncomfortable place for kids. There was guy named Mr. Brownlow that wanted to change the orphanage to have mercy. At the end of the story, the orphanage changed and Mr. Brownlow ended up adopting Oliver.
Very hard to read.I'm not a native english speaker and reading this book was almost impossible to comprehend because of the very old english words.Otherwise the story was interesting (from what I was able to understand :) )
Great
