Adrienne Young is the New York Times and internationally bestselling author of the Sky and Sea duology, the Fable series, and Spells for Forgetting.
Adrienne Young was born in Texas. In her twenties, she moved to California to be near her boyfriend, whom she eventually married. The couple spent 15 vibrant years in the bustling state of California before moving to North Carolina in 2021.
Her journey to becoming an author began when she mustered the courage at 25 to pursue her childhood dream of writing. In 2018, she sold her first novel, Sky in the Deep, which focused on young adult themes, marking the beginning of her writing career.
Sky in the Deep follows the tale of Eelyn, a young warrior whose life is upended when she witnesses her supposedly deceased brother fighting for the enemy on the battlefield.
