Geof Johnson was born in Florence, South Carolina, and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. He eventually found his way to Florida State University, where he earned a degree in music theory and pursued a career as a songwriter and performer. The last few years, Geof has devoted himself to writing fiction and has written nine novels.
