Frances Gendlin brings to her new book twenty years of leadership in American magazine and book publishing. Former editor of Sierra Magazine and executive director of the Association of American University Presses, she has written multiple guidebooks to Rome, Paris, and San Francisco. For the last decade, Fran Gendlin has enjoyed living in Paris, where she is an active member of the expatriate literary community.
