Ottessa Charlotte Moshfegh is an American author and novelist. Her debut novel, Eileen, won the Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award, was shortlisted for the Booker Prize, and was a fiction finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award.

    I read the summary and I thought it was about a 13 y.o boy going in an adventure. I mean I'm right but I didn't expect it to be gruesome and I didn't know who Ottessa Moshfegh was 😭 it was good tho it just catched me super off guard
