Kendall Ryan is an American writer of contemporary erotic romance. Her books have featured in the USA Today, New York Times, and Wall Street Journal bestseller list on multiple occasions. She is the bestselling author of more than three dozen titles. Many of them have been translated into several languages in countries around the world.
According to Wikipedia, her books have sold more than 2 million copies worldwide. The authors said that her works appeal to "anyone that enjoys a love story, lots of sexual tension and steam, as well as a happily-ever-after ending".
In 2012 Ryan left her job in corporate America to pursue writing full-time. She was inspired by the success of indie authors on Amazon's new self-publishing platform. Her first book was "Unravel Me" which features a hero with amnesia and the heroine is a Ph.D. student sent to study him. They begin a forbidden affair, and when his brutal past is eventually uncovered, it shakes everything they thought they knew.
But success came later with "Hard to Love", which was her first bestseller. Since that time, she has been featured on the New York Times and USA Today bestsellers lists "more than 100 times" (according to the author's official website). Now she's a traditionally published author with Simon & Schuster and Harper Collins UK, as well as an independently published author.
Kendall Ryan has been featured in such publications as Newsweek, Cosmopolitan Magazine, and InTouch Magazine.
She lives in Texas with her husband and two sons.
