Kate Hewitt is a USA Today bestselling author, and according to her web, she has sold over two million copies of her novels worldwide. The novelist mostly writes contemporary and historical fiction, with an emphasis on emotionally compelling characters. But she also has a series of books in the Christmas story genre.
Besides, Hewitt also writes novels under the pen name Katharine Swartz, the author of the Tales from Goswell books, a series of time-slip novels set in the village of Goswell.
Kate Hewitt was born in Pennsylvania, went to college in Vermont, and has spent summers in the Canadian wilderness. After several years as a diehard New Yorker, she now lives in a small town in Wales with her husband, five children, and dogs.
