I constantly hammer at the theme that leaders are the primary cause of the success or failure of the organizations they lead.

Most leaders create problems for themselves and the organization they lead in spite of having additional hands to help them.

What matters is that the wiser and more determined entrepreneur and leader does not hesitate to seek out talented help to join with them.

It is one thing to give birth to a baby, and a whole different set of conditions to care for and raise a baby.

In its initial vision and strategic phase; from the idea to reality an IC needs to be made up of individuals who thrive on challenges and unknowns and handle multi-tasking. All members accept and work on what needs to be done. Events dictate and all the planning goes out the window. Also, each member needs to know the overall picture because in the well functioning IC no one acts in a vacuum. Primarily, at this phase they are like a wolf pack with the alpha wolf (the entrepreneur) calling the shots.
