“One could not count the moons that shimmer on her roofs, or the thousand splendid suns that hide behind her walls."
It’s such a tearjerker! This is a beautiful and heartbreaking story about 3 generations of women in Afghanistan. This is the story of the struggles of Afghani women in different stages of their lives and through the times of war.
Khaled Hosseini reminds me a bit of Fredrik Backman. Both of them use simple language to present very challenging ideas to their readers.
And I definitely wouldn’t expect that some of the events from the book I would be re-living in my country 😢
Шикарный роман. Ярчайшие впечатления!!!
