Where the Path Breaks

A moving romance with a well nuanced and observed central character that grows to a noble soul. A soldier of WWI wakes up from injury only to gradually discover through his damaged memory that his day-bride has remarried (believing him to be dead)... The soldier decides to re-invent himself and his life completely from scratch - this proves to be easier said than done.
