Whether it is for personal, social, economic or political reasons .Our lives as human beings involve making decisions and choices on a daily basis. These decisions which vary in quality and importance are based on information that we receive from multiple sources around us .The relationships we engage in, and the influences we have been subject to since our childhood contribute to the incarnation and evolution of our personalities. These influences which are acted on us by different agents constitute what is referred to as brainwashing or mind control in the broad sense. In today’s world, we are exposed to different kinds of manipulation and will-extortion. For instance governments use their powerful media to influence the public opinion and manipulate the public according to their political agendas. Corporations also use advertisement and public relations to influence and coerce crowds and masses to buy their products and pay for their overpriced services. Religious groups and cults have their own methods of recruiting young people and forcing them to embrace their strange ideas and adopt their rigid styles of living. The following research aims at searching and investigating the ways and the methods that are widely and systematically put into use while forming, changing and manipulating people's opinions and attitudes in different situations
