Thomas Sanders and Virginia Wallace were bonded together in the past due to a bet, but each one continued their path thinking that what happened wouldn't affect their lives.
However, five years later, they found each other again in a remote town near Texas. During that time, Thomas has been trying to recover from the aftermath of his marital breakdown, which led him to destruction. Virginia, for her part, observes how her work is cut short and she is set apart, without being able to help it, to a place she doesn't know and where she will find again the man who marked her forever.
As days go by, the experiences between them become more intense, strong and intimate. Everyone thinks they're meant for each other, except Virginia...
Can we blame destiny for everything that happens in our lives or are we the ones who act unconsciously towards that future that we seek?
